Hello I'm back!!!!
>> Sunday, May 15, 2011
Lately, I have been so busy with working (on my website), running around and taking care of my garden. On top of that, my PC is having a problem. It's running very slow. I don't know what's the deal. I might need a new one (meaning I have to spend some money again!! Yikes!). Well, actually I have been using this baby more than 5 years. It's about time, I guess. Oh well...
My life has become so hectic lately. Everyday I run around like a headless chicken trying to play superwoman. ^_^ Geezzz....I wish there were 48 hours in a day!! So I could get things done and preserve my sanity. Don't get my wrong I am not complaining. This is just my way of saying "I am enjoying it". ^_^ At any rate, I will try to update new goodies as soon as I can. Please bear with me.
Until then...

To My Beloved Dad
You mean so very much to me,
And I want you to know
That you are always in my heart,
No matter where I go.
You're always giving, always there
To help in any way;
The loving things you've done for me,
I never could repay.
I can't imagine what I'd do
Without the love you give.
I'll treasure your sweet heart of gold
As long as I shall live.
Now I am feeling better and can get in the original topic.
My Goal…
To speak fluently and accurately has always been my goal of learning English. Right now, I feel like I am an amateur non-native English speaker and I desperately want to improve it to the next level. I set myself a time frame to achieve a certain level of proficiency, but then I get discouraged by apparent lack of progress. It is hard to stay motivate when at times I seem to be standing still or even going backwards. Fluency means being able to communicate my ideas without having to stop and think about what I am saying. And by being accurate which means to speak without errors of grammar and vocabulary. As far as English is concerned, I am miles away from both of those (I think). Many times I speak broken English.. oh well...only time can help, I guess. Fluency and accuracy (sigh!) I will worry about those later.

Madam Kero & Khun Nai Mayes...
I want to update my blog more often, but my mind has been a blank the last four days or so. Last night while I was visiting Madam Kero's blog, I came accross Khun Nai JJ's comments and the line "English Learning" got me. Now I have something to write about. Hey, Madam Kero and Khun Nai Mayes, thank you to the both of you for unintentionally giving me a subject to write about. You both rock!! Now let’s talk about learning English as a second language (ESL) shall we?

Cat: Hey dogs! You are on!
Dog: Oh, we are on? Ehh...oh.. hello there. Please, don't be surprised we are here to make our voice heard.
Yes, that's right! We're here today to end discrimination against dogs!! Now, we want to send a message to Joly. Hey, Joly how come you haven't posted our pictures on your blog!! Is there something wrong with us? Just so you know, we are as good as those hairballs!! We have been waiting for our turn for so long, and finally our patience has come to an end. Now, you listen and listen good!! From now on you must post some of our pictures here, or you'll be sorry!! We feel like we are being treated like dirt and can't take it any longer. We are dogs, please treat us with dignity!! Thanks!!
Don't Toy With Jack!!
>> Wednesday, July 05, 2006
This is Jack, a 10-year-old orange-and-white tabby, 15-pound cat.
He spotted the bear in a neighbor's yard last month. As soon as little Jack saw the big black bear, the clawless kitty took action ( Jack the Brave!!). The bear scurried up a tree and eyed the cat for 10 to 15 minutes, while Jack stared and hissed from the ground.
Look! How tiny tiny he is on the ground!
The bear inched its way down before jumping off and running away. But Jack chased the bear into the brush and up another tree. That's when Jack's owner realized what was happening and called her cat inside.
The big bear became a poor little guy!
According to the news, Jack’s a loner, a sometimes-friendly, sometimes- surly senior who spends his days wandering through the woods. He is particular about his yard. Strangers are not always welcomed. But last month, Jack the cat became a real hero after he chased the big black bear out of his neighbors' yard and up a tree. Impressive indeed!!
Told Ya! Don't Toy With Jack!! ^_^"
